Six Degrees picks up Cloud Excellence Award at 2016 Avaya Partner Awards

Six Degrees, the converged technology infrastructure provider, is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Cloud Excellence Award at the 2016 Avaya Partner Awards in recognition of its Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) offering.

Avaya is a global leader in business communications software, systems and services, and the Partner Awards celebrate the role Avaya Connect channel partners have played in driving the company’s success in the UK.

In late 2014, Six Degrees partnered with Avaya to launch Europe’s first cloud-based IP telephony and unified communications service for midmarket businesses powered by the Avaya IP Office platform.

The UCaaS service is delivered over Six Degrees’ privately owned, high speed, high quality, secure network, and leverages its SIP services and business continuity capabilities. Through the service, UK mid-market businesses are able to access voice, video and collaboration tools on virtually any device, helping them to better manage their costs by eliminating the need for large, up-front capital investments and upgrades.

As Six Degrees owns and manages its own Next Generation Network (NGN) and cloud platforms, it maintains end-to-end control over the UCaaS offering and can offer 99.999% Service Level Agreements (SLA) as a result.
