Six Degrees is proud to announce that we have been shortlisted in the Multi-Channel Solution of the Year category at the Retail Systems Awards 2018, for the Managed Network Solution we provided to Grafton Group plc. Now in their 13th year, the Retail Systems Awards, organised by Retail Systems, recognise technology excellence and innovation within the retail sector. Winning entries come from retailers and technology suppliers who are leading the way in areas such as mobile, online, payments, loyalty and personalisation.
The winners will be determined by an independent judging panel and announced at the renowned Retail Systems Awards Ceremony on 27th June 2018 at the prestigious Waldorf Hilton, London.
Six Degrees’ Awards Retail Systems 2018 submission centred on its partnership with Grafton Group plc to deliver a new group-wide Managed Network Solution. Grafton Group plc was in great need of an upgraded system that could keep up with the roll-out of new technology within their company.
“The project was a complex one and Six Degrees worked tirelessly with the team at Grafton with unparalleled commitment, professionalism and hard work. It was a fantastic team effort,” said Nathan Bishop, Group IT Services Director at Grafton.
The service was rolled out to the 500 branch and head office locations in the UK, with Managed Internet access provided to all Grafton Group companies in UK and Ireland, enabling them to operate more effectively across all channels. Now the two companies work in close partnership to ensure Grafton can focus on its core business objectives, with no worries of overloading the systems or suffering unwelcome downtime.
The Retail Systems Awards 2018 celebrates excellence and innovation in the retail sector and is hosted by of Retail Systems, one of the leading business websites for IT purchasers in multi-channel retail. We look forward to the ceremony on 27th June, a gala evening to showcase the achievements of those within the sector.
